Experience Tanglewood Music Center Fellows live on August 16th

The Tanglewood Music Center Fellows will perform at Seiji Ozawa Hall in Lenox, Massachusetts on August 16, 2026. The Tanglewood Music Center (TMC) is the summer training program of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and its Fellows represent an exceptionally high level of pre-professional orchestral musicians. Performances typically showcase a broad range of repertoire, spanning from standard orchestral works to contemporary compositions, often including chamber music and solo performances. The TMC experience focuses on intensive training and mentorship, preparing Fellows for careers as professional orchestral players.

Seiji Ozawa Hall, opened in 1994, is a 1,444-seat open-air concert venue located on the grounds of Tanglewood. It was designed by William Rawn Associates and specifically conceived to provide a more intimate performance space than the larger Koussevitzky Music Shed. The hall is named in honor of Seiji Ozawa, who served as music director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra from 1973 to 1980 and again from 1980 to 1999; his long association with Tanglewood made him a pivotal figure in its history.
