Experience Tanglewood Music Center Fellows live on July 12th
The Tanglewood Music Center Fellows will perform at Seiji Ozawa Hall in Lenox, Massachusetts on July 12, 2026. The Tanglewood Music Center is the summer training program of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and its Fellows represent emerging professional orchestral musicians. Performances typically showcase a diverse repertoire spanning classical periods – Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and 20th/21st century – with a focus on orchestral works, chamber music, and occasionally vocal or operatic selections. The program emphasizes intensive training and performance opportunities under the mentorship of BSO musicians and renowned conductors.
Seiji Ozawa Hall is a modern, open-air concert venue situated on the grounds of Tanglewood. Completed in 1994, it was designed by William Rawn Associates and provides a more intimate setting than the larger Shed. The hall is named in honor of Seiji Ozawa, who served as music director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra from 1973 to 1980 and again from 1980 to 1999. Its acoustics are specifically tailored for chamber music and smaller orchestral ensembles.
