The Tanglewood Music Center Fellows will perform at the Linde Center for Music and Learning in Lenox, Massachusetts on July 11, 2026. The Tanglewood Music Center is the summer training program of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and its Fellows represent emerging professional orchestral musicians. Performances typically showcase a broad range of repertoire spanning the classical tradition, from Baroque to contemporary works, frequently including chamber music, orchestral excerpts, and solo performances. The focus is on intensive study and performance experience under mentorship from BSO musicians and renowned conductors.

The Linde Center for Music and Learning, which opened in 2019, serves as a year-round campus for learning and engagement at Tanglewood. Designed by William Rawn Associates, the building incorporates sustainable design principles and features several spaces dedicated to music education and performance. Its primary performance space, the Linda Ainsworth Concert Hall, is known for its exceptional acoustics and flexible configuration. The center also houses classrooms, rehearsal rooms, a library with specialized collections relating to music history & performance practice, and interactive exhibition spaces intended to enhance audience understanding of music. It represents a significant expansion of Tanglewood’s commitment to both artistic excellence and educational outreach.
