The band, originating from Portland, Oregon, generally creates music described as indie pop and synth-pop, often incorporating elements of dream pop and chillwave. Citizens Live At The Wylie is an outdoor concert venue located in the Wylie Avenue corridor of Pittsburgh’s Hill District. It opened in 2023 as part of a broader revitalization effort for the neighborhood. The venue is built on the site formerly occupied by the Civic Arena, utilizing portions of the original structure within its design.
