Special Consensus has a history spanning over four decades, known for their tight harmonies and instrumental proficiency. They have received numerous awards including multiple International Bluegrass Music Association honors.

Caffè Lena is a historic folk music venue established in 1960 by Lena Spencer. It quickly became a significant hub for emerging folk artists during the American folk music revival of the 1960s, hosting performances by figures like Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, and Pete Seeger early in their careers. The venue is renowned for its intimate setting and commitment to showcasing both established and up-and-coming musicians across various folk traditions. Caffè Lena holds the distinction of being New York State’s official folk music venue and continues to operate as a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting live acoustic music. The building itself is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
