De Roma is a historic concert venue located in Antwerp’s Borgerhout district. Originally constructed in 1928 as a cinema, it operated under that function until 1989. Following a period of disuse, the building was renovated and reopened as a concert hall in 2002. The venue is recognized for its art deco architecture and intimate atmosphere; it has a standing capacity of approximately 650 people and seated options are also available for many events. Throughout its history as a concert venue, De Roma has hosted a diverse range of international artists spanning various genres including indie rock, electronic music and world music.
