Soggy Po’ Boys are a New Orleans-style brass band known for their energetic performances and interpretations of traditional jazz, funk, and R&B standards, alongside original compositions. Their sound features a prominent horn section – typically including trumpet, trombone, saxophone, and sousaphone – driven by a strong rhythm section. The band has been performing since the late 1990s, gaining a regional following through extensive touring and festival appearances.

Bull Run is an outdoor music venue located in Shirley, Massachusetts. Established in 1981 by the Carlson family, it initially operated as a motorcycle-focused establishment featuring live music. Over time, Bull Run transitioned to primarily hosting musical performances across various genres including blues, rock, country and Americana. The venue is noted for its open-air setting with a covered stage and lawn seating accommodating several thousand patrons. It has hosted numerous nationally recognized acts throughout its history and remains a popular destination for live music in the New England area.
