Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox will be performing at the Suffolk Theater in Riverhead, New York on October 22, 2026. The ensemble is known for reimagining popular modern songs in vintage styles, primarily those prevalent from the 1920s through the 1950s. This includes genres like jazz, blues, ragtime, and swing. Bradlee, a pianist and arranger, founded the project in 2011; it initially gained traction through YouTube videos showcasing these reinterpretations. The group features a rotating ensemble of talented musicians and vocalists.

The Suffolk Theater itself has a rich history within the Riverhead community. Originally opened in 1933 as a single-screen movie house, it served as a central entertainment venue for decades. After periods of decline and closure, the theater underwent extensive renovations completed in 2016. These renovations restored many of its original Art Deco features while modernizing its capabilities to accommodate live performances, concerts, comedy shows and film screenings. The theater now functions as a multi-purpose arts center aiming to contribute to the cultural life of Long Island’s North Fork region.
