Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox will be performing at the Carolina Theatre in Durham, North Carolina on October 15, 2026. The Carolina Theatre originally opened in 1926 as a movie palace and vaudeville house. Designed by George C. Rapp, it was a significant entertainment venue during the golden age of cinema and hosted numerous prominent performers. After periods of decline and closure, the theatre underwent extensive renovations completed in 2021. These renovations restored many of its original architectural features while updating its technical capabilities. Today, the Carolina Theatre functions as a multi-purpose venue hosting concerts, films, theatrical performances, and community events; it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
