Sam Grisman Project will be performing at Revolution Hall in Portland, Oregon on July 11, 2026. The Sam Grisman Project blends elements of jazz, folk, and Americana with a strong emphasis on acoustic instrumentation and improvisational interplay. Led by Sam Grisman, son of renowned mandolinist David Grisman, the group is known for its energetic live performances and arrangements that often reinterpret traditional American music through a contemporary lens. Their sound incorporates mandolin, guitar, bass, and other instruments to create a dynamic and engaging musical experience.

Revolution Hall is a historic venue located in the Buckman neighborhood of Portland. Originally constructed in 1909 as a high school, the building served as a public school until 1981. Following years of disuse, it was renovated and reopened as a music venue in 2014. The hall retains many of its original architectural features including a large auditorium with tiered seating and a prominent stage. It has since become a popular location for concerts featuring both established and emerging artists across various genres, hosting events ranging from indie rock to folk and beyond. The venue’s capacity is approximately 800 standing or 650 seated.
