Rudolf Buchbinder, recognized internationally for his interpretations of the Viennese Classical and Romantic repertoire, will perform at the Liederhalle Stuttgart on March 3, 2027. Buchbinder’s playing is characterized by a deep intellectual approach, technical mastery, and a notable lyrical quality, often described as possessing both power and refinement. The Liederhalle Stuttgart is a significant concert and convention venue with a history dating back to its initial construction in 1896. Designed by architect Wilhelm Jost, the building initially comprised a large concert hall and several smaller rooms dedicated to exhibitions and gatherings. Severely damaged during World War II, it underwent extensive reconstruction, reopening in 1966 with a revised architectural plan while maintaining much of the original structure's elegance.
Today, Liederhalle Stuttgart features the main “Grosser Saal” – a renowned concert hall known for its excellent acoustics – alongside the “Kleiner Saal” and several flexible conference spaces.
