RTÉ Concert Orchestra is Ireland’s national orchestra, renowned for its diverse repertoire encompassing classical music, light classics, film scores, and popular contemporary works. The ensemble frequently collaborates with Irish and international artists across various genres, demonstrating a commitment to both established masterpieces and innovative programming. Their performances aim to broaden orchestral accessibility while maintaining artistic excellence.

The concert on August 4th, 2026 will take place at the National Concert Hall (NCH) in Dublin. Opened in 1981, the NCH is situated on Earlsfort Terrace and is Ireland’s premier music venue. Its construction involved significant renovation of the historic Earlsfort Terrace building, originally a Georgian residence and later University College Dublin’s main building. The hall's primary performance space, the Main Hall, is celebrated for its acoustics and architectural design.

The NCH hosts over 300 events annually, ranging from orchestral concerts and chamber music recitals to choral performances and contemporary music presentations. It serves as the national home for both RTÉ Orchestras – the Concert Orchestra and the National Symphony Orchestra – as well as visiting national and international ensembles.
