The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin is Ireland’s largest theatre, accommodating over 2,000 patrons. Opened in March 2010, it was originally named the Grand Canal Theatre. The venue is located on Spencer Dock and forms part of the Dublin Docklands development. Its design incorporates a large glass facade and a horseshoe-shaped auditorium intended to provide excellent sightlines from all seats.
