Roomful of Blues is scheduled to perform at Tupelo Music Hall in Derry, New Hampshire on January 16, 2027. The band is recognized for its energetic performances rooted in classic blues, jump blues, and R&B traditions. Formed in 1969 in Rhode Island, Roomful of Blues has a long history of showcasing both established and emerging blues talent; several members have gone on to successful solo careers or joined other prominent bands. Their sound typically features a robust horn section, driving rhythm guitar, and soulful vocals.

Tupelo Music Hall is a well-known intimate venue established in 1976, initially operating as a record store before transitioning into a dedicated live music space. It’s known for its focus on Americana, roots, folk, blues and singer-songwriter genres. The hall has hosted numerous nationally and internationally touring artists throughout its history while maintaining a commitment to supporting regional musicians. It’s characterized by its relatively small capacity – approximately 200 seats – which fosters close interaction between performers and audience members. The venue underwent renovations and relocated within Derry in 2018 but continues to operate with a similar ethos focused on live musical performance.
