Destroyer, the musical project of Dan Bejar, will perform at the Nashua Center for the Arts on October 18, 2026. Destroyer’s music is generally categorized as art rock, often incorporating elements of baroque pop, new wave, and lounge music. Bejar is known for his complex lyrical style, characterized by stream-of-consciousness narratives and literary references, alongside sophisticated musical arrangements featuring horns, synthesizers and intricate instrumentation. The project has released numerous albums to critical acclaim since its formation in 1994, evolving through various sonic landscapes while maintaining Bejar’s distinctive vocal delivery and songwriting approach.

The Nashua Center for the Arts (NCA) is a multi-purpose performing arts venue located in Nashua, New Hampshire. Originally constructed in 1922 as the Paramount Theatre, it operated as a movie palace during its early years showcasing vaudeville acts and films. Following a period of decline and closure in the late 20th century, the building underwent significant renovations completed in 2005. The NCA now hosts a diverse range of events including concerts, theatrical performances, dance recitals, comedy shows and community events.
