Quadro Nuevo will perform at the Atrium Bad Schallerbach Europasaal in Bad Schallerbach, Austria on May 5th, 2027. The ensemble is known for its distinctive blend of jazz, tango nuevo, classical music, and world music influences. Formed in 1996, Quadro Nuevo features a unique instrumentation – piano, bandoneon, double bass, and drums – creating a sound characterized by sophisticated arrangements and dynamic interplay between improvisation and composition. Their performances often incorporate elements of storytelling and theatricality.

The Atrium Bad Schallerbach Europasaal is a significant cultural venue within the historic spa town of Bad Schallerbach. Originally constructed in the late 19th century as part of the town’s thermal bath complex designed by architect Johann Garben, the building underwent extensive modernization and expansion in the early 2000s. It now functions as a multi-purpose event space hosting concerts, conferences, and theatrical productions. The hall is recognized for its acoustics and elegant architectural features reflecting its heritage as a traditional Kurhaus (spa house). It’s capacity is approximately 650 seated guests.
