Throughout his career he has collaborated with artists across diverse genres including Santana, Herbie Hancock, and Tito Puente.

Yoshi’s Oakland has a long-standing history as a premier jazz club in the Bay Area. Originally founded in San Francisco in 1977 by Yoshie Akiba, it relocated to Oakland in 2007.
