Jamboree, located in Plaça Reial, Barcelona, is a historic jazz club with a significant legacy within the city’s cultural landscape. Established in 1961 by Josep Maria Gelabert, it initially served as a meeting point for artists and intellectuals during the Franco regime, offering a space for relatively uncensored artistic expression. Throughout its history, Jamboree has hosted prominent international jazz musicians alongside local talent, becoming a cornerstone of Barcelona's jazz scene. The venue is known for its intimate atmosphere and dedication to live music performance. It continues to operate as both a club presenting nightly performances and as a bar/restaurant open throughout the day. The club underwent renovations in 2016 while maintaining its original character.
