Jamboree is a well-established jazz club located in the Plaça Reial in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. Originally opened in 1961 by Pedro Costa, it quickly became a focal point for jazz musicians both locally and internationally. Throughout its history, Jamboree has hosted numerous renowned artists including Dexter Gordon, Tete Montoliu and Lee Konitz. The venue has undergone several renovations but retains its intimate atmosphere and commitment to live music. It currently operates as both a daytime bar/restaurant and an evening performance space showcasing a diverse range of jazz styles alongside other genres like flamenco and soul. The club is known for its late-night programming and vibrant cultural significance within Barcelona’s music scene.
