Experience Paul Jackson live on June 18th

Paul Jackson is a highly regarded American jazz and R&B bassist, composer, and arranger known for his work with artists like Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson. His musical style blends elements of post-bop jazz with funk, soul, and a sophisticated harmonic sensibility. He is recognized for his distinctive bass lines and contributions to numerous iconic recordings throughout the 1980s and 90s, as well as continuing as a prolific session musician and bandleader. He frequently leads ensembles showcasing both original compositions and interpretations of jazz standards.

Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley, located in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood, is a long-standing and nationally recognized jazz club. Established in 1981 by Dimitriou “Jim” Kokoris, it has hosted many prominent figures in jazz including Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Wynton Marsalis. The venue is known for its intimate setting – a relatively small space designed to foster close interaction between performers and audience members – and its consistent dedication to presenting live jazz performances. It maintains a traditional supper club format where patrons can enjoy food and beverages during shows.
