Noel and Maria are a performing duo specializing in a blend of classical crossover and contemporary instrumental music. Their performances frequently feature arrangements of popular songs reimagined for violin and piano, alongside original compositions demonstrating influences from both classical traditions and modern soundscapes. They are known for technically proficient playing and emotive interpretations.

The Dowd Center Theatre is located within the Monroe County Community College campus in Monroe, Michigan. Originally opened in 1971 as part of the college’s Fine Arts Building, it underwent a significant renovation and expansion completed in 2018. The theatre serves as a regional hub for performing arts, hosting a diverse range of events including theatrical productions, dance performances, musical concerts, and lectures.

The venue boasts a proscenium stage and seating capacity of approximately 850 individuals. Its design incorporates modern acoustics and lighting systems intended to enhance the audience experience.
