Nobuyuki Tsujii, a Japanese classical pianist who gained international recognition as the joint winner of the 2009 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, will perform at Suntory Hall in Tokyo on September 9, 2026. Tsujii is known for his deeply expressive and technically brilliant interpretations, often characterized by a romantic sensibility and a powerful, individual voice. He performs a diverse repertoire spanning from classical masters like Chopin and Rachmaninoff to contemporary composers. Notably, he performs entirely from memory despite being blind.

Suntory Hall, opened in 1972, is considered one of the world’s finest concert halls renowned for its exceptional acoustics. Designed by architect Mamoru Takada, its vineyard-style seating arrangement ensures excellent sightlines and sound distribution for all audience members.
