Spot Groningen is a prominent music venue located in the city of Groningen, Netherlands. Originally established as a student cultural centre in 1969 under the name “Der AA”, it underwent significant renovations and rebranding to become Spot in 2006. The venue is known for its intimate atmosphere and diverse programming, hosting both established artists and emerging talent across various musical styles including pop, rock, jazz, and electronic music. It features two primary spaces: a larger hall capable of accommodating several hundred attendees and a smaller, more intimate club space.
