Jools Holland & his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra will perform at Spot Groningen on March 7th, 2027. Holland is known for his boogie-woogie piano style, deeply rooted in rhythm and blues, jazz, and early rock and roll. His performances frequently incorporate guest vocalists and a vibrant, energetic stage presence. He gained prominence as the bandleader for the long-running British music television program *Later… with Jools Holland*, showcasing a wide range of musical artists.

Spot Groningen is a relatively new concert venue in the city, opening in September 2023. It’s situated within the former Energiehuis, a repurposed power station building dating back to 1936. The Energiehuis underwent extensive renovation to transform it into a multi-functional cultural space hosting concerts, theatre productions, and other events.

The venue features two primary halls: a larger hall with a capacity of approximately 1,500 and a smaller hall accommodating around 300 attendees. Spot Groningen aims to be a significant contributor to Groningen’s cultural landscape, focusing on diverse programming and architectural preservation within its industrial heritage setting.
