Todorov is a Bulgarian composer and pianist known for his neoclassical style, often incorporating elements of minimalism and ambient music. He has released several albums to critical acclaim and is recognized for his contributions to contemporary Bulgarian classical music.
Bulgaria Hall (originally named “Palace of Labour”) is a significant cultural landmark in Sofia. Constructed between 1957 and 1966, it served primarily as a trade union cultural centre during the socialist era. The building exemplifies the architectural style of the mid-20th century, characterized by its monumental scale and neoclassical detailing. Following political changes in Bulgaria, it was renovated and rebranded as Bulgaria Hall, becoming a major venue for concerts, theatrical performances, conferences, and other events. It’s known for its excellent acoustics and large capacity – seating approximately 988 people – making it one of Sofia’s premier performance spaces. The hall continues to host a diverse range of national and international artists.
