Julian Rachlin, a violinist and violist renowned for his emotionally charged performances and technical mastery, will perform at Bulgaria Hall in Sofia on September 28, 2026. Rachlin’s repertoire spans a broad range, encompassing works from the Baroque period to contemporary compositions, often characterized by a lyrical intensity and a willingness to explore diverse musical interpretations. He frequently performs both as a soloist with leading orchestras internationally and in recital settings.

Bulgaria Hall (originally known as “Palace of Labour”) is a significant cultural landmark in Sofia. Constructed in 1949 during the socialist era, it served primarily as a venue for political rallies and congresses. Following significant renovations completed in 2023, it has been repurposed as a modern multi-functional space dedicated to hosting concerts, theatrical productions, conferences, and other cultural events. The hall’s architecture reflects the Stalinist style prevalent during its construction period, featuring grand scale and ornate detailing. Its main concert hall boasts excellent acoustics and a capacity of approximately 980 seats. It represents an important part of Bulgaria's architectural and cultural heritage.
