MonoNeon, the stage name of Henry Jamison, will perform at Sky Bar Gasometer Schöneberg in Berlin on July 24, 2026. Jamison is a highly distinctive American bassist, composer, and performer known for his innovative and often unconventional approach to funk, jazz, and psychedelic music. His style frequently incorporates heavily processed bass tones, complex harmonic structures, rapid-fire improvisations, and a visually striking aesthetic – often involving brightly colored clothing and a distinctive helmet. He gained prominence through collaborations with artists like Prince, Ghostface Killah, and Flying Lotus, and has released several critically acclaimed solo albums including *Black Prince* and *Telephone Highlife*.

Sky Bar Gasometer Schöneberg is located within the historic Gasometer building in Berlin’s Schöneberg district. Originally constructed in 1874 as a gas holder for the city’s gasworks, the structure was decommissioned in the late 19th century. It underwent extensive renovation in the 1970s to become a cultural center and now functions as an event space hosting concerts, exhibitions and other events. The venue is characterized by its industrial architecture and offers panoramic views of Berlin from its rooftop bar.
