The Masonic in San Francisco is a historic performance venue located in the Nob Hill neighborhood. Originally built in 1902 as a home for Freemasons, the building served various purposes before being renovated and reopened as a concert hall in 2014. The venue retains many of its original architectural features, including ornate detailing and a grand ballroom aesthetic. It's known for its excellent acoustics and intimate atmosphere despite its relatively large capacity of approximately 3,000 attendees. The Masonic has hosted performances by a diverse range of artists spanning genres like rock, pop, electronic, and folk music, becoming a significant part of San Francisco’s live music scene. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
