Microwave, a band originating from Atlanta, Georgia, will be performing at The Orange Peel in Asheville, North Carolina on October 9, 2026. The Orange Peel is a prominent independent music venue located in downtown Asheville. Originally constructed in 1928 as a silk stocking mill, the building was renovated and reopened as a music venue in 1998. It’s known for its intimate setting – holding approximately 1,000 attendees – and its distinctive brick interior which retains much of the building's original industrial aesthetic. Over the years The Orange Peel has hosted a diverse range of nationally and internationally recognized artists spanning genres like rock, indie, country, hip-hop and electronic music.
