Experience Microwave
Microwave is an American post-hardcore band formed in Atlanta, Georgia in 2010. Originally a duo, the group solidified with a full lineup featuring vocalist/keyboardist Mark Jaworsky, guitarists Wesley Pendleton and John Riker, bassist Tyler Hill, and drummer Travis Clark. They gained traction independently, releasing their self-titled EP in 2012 before signing with Topshelf Records.
Their debut full-length, *Stovetop* (2014), established their signature sound – a dynamic blend of emotionally resonant songwriting, intricate guitar work reminiscent of American Football, and driving post-hardcore energy. This was followed by *Much Like Us* (2016), further refining their atmospheric and melodic approach.
Microwave’s breakthrough came with *Death of a Clown* (2019), released via Run For Cover Records, earning critical acclaim for its mature lyricism and expanded sonic palette. The album explored themes of disillusionment and personal struggle. They've consistently toured extensively across North America, sharing stages with bands like Turnover and Citizen.
