League is primarily known as the founder, composer, and bassist of the American instrumental band Snarky Puppy. His musical style blends jazz, funk, fusion, and world music elements, often characterized by complex arrangements, improvisation, and a strong rhythmic foundation. He frequently incorporates diverse instrumentation and draws inspiration from various global musical traditions. Beyond Snarky Puppy, League also leads Bokanté, another project showcasing his compositional skills and exploration of Creole culture through music.

The Tauberphilharmonie is a concert hall located within the historic Weikersheim Castle in Weikersheim, Baden-Württemberg. Originally constructed as a baroque residence for Prince Aloys II of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Virneburg in the early 18th century, the castle underwent extensive renovations in the late 20th century to integrate a modern concert venue while preserving its historical architecture. The Tauberphilharmonie opened in 1994 and is recognized for its excellent acoustics and intimate setting – seating approximately 650 people.
