Michael League Concerts
Michael League is a highly accomplished and versatile musician, composer, and producer best known as the founder and bassist of the Grammy-winning jazz fusion collective, Snarky Puppy. Born in Long Beach, California in 1984, League began his musical journey at an early age, playing guitar and bass in various bands throughout his teenage years.
In 2003, League formed Snarky Puppy in Denton, Texas. The group quickly gained recognition for their unique blend of jazz, funk, and world music influences. With League at the helm as the band's primary songwriter and producer, Snarky Puppy has released numerous critically acclaimed albums. Their breakthrough came with the release of "We Like It Here" in 2014, which won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance.
Aside from his work with Snarky Puppy, League has collaborated with a wide range of artists across different genres. He has produced albums for prominent musicians like David Crosby and Becca Stevens while also lending his bass skills to recordings by renowned artists such as Kirk Franklin and Lalah Hathaway.
