MEZERG, a French musical duo comprised of Pauline Almer and Kilian Martin, will perform at Île des Impressionnistes in Chatou, France on July 4th, 2026. Île des Impressionnistes is an island located in the Seine river at Chatou, historically significant as a location favored by Impressionist painters in the late 19th century. Artists like Claude Monet, Berthe Morisot and Gustave Caillebotte regularly visited and painted *en plein air* on the island, drawn to its natural light and picturesque landscapes. The island’s association with this artistic movement led to its official naming as “Île des Impressionnistes” in 1997. Today it functions as a public park and cultural space hosting events that reflect its artistic heritage.
