DARKSIDE is scheduled to perform at La Gaîté lyrique in Paris, France on July 9, 2026. The musical project, primarily a collaboration between Nicholas Jaar and Rafeal Prado, blends electronic music with elements of jazz, rock, and experimental soundscapes. La Gaîté lyrique is a cultural center located in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris. Originally constructed in 1862 as a theatre dedicated to operetta, it underwent significant renovations and reopened in 2011 with a broadened focus. Today, it functions as a multidisciplinary space dedicated to digital arts and contemporary music. The building's architecture retains historical elements while incorporating modern design features suitable for diverse performances and exhibitions. It houses concert halls, exhibition spaces, workshops and a media library. The venue frequently hosts events exploring the intersection of art, technology and music – making it an appropriate setting for DARKSIDE’s innovative approach to sound.
