The Leonkoro Quartet will perform at Konserthuset Stockholm on November 14, 2026. The quartet, formed in 2008, is recognized for its intensely focused and emotionally resonant interpretations of string quartet repertoire. Konserthuset Stockholm opened in 1926 and is Sweden’s national concert hall. Designed by architect Ivar Tengbom, it is renowned for its exceptional acoustics, achieved through careful architectural planning and the use of specific materials. The hall's design was heavily influenced by the Musikverein in Vienna. It serves as the primary venue for the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and hosts a wide variety of musical performances throughout the year including orchestral concerts, chamber music recitals, and solo performances.
