The band, originating from Nashville, Tennessee, is known for its distinctive blend of slowcore, country, and electronic music. The Glasshouse, opened in November 2023, represents a significant investment in the cultural landscape of the North East of England. It is a multi-venue complex formed from the renovation and combination of the Sage Gateshead and The Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art. Designed by architects Populous, it aims to be a national centre for music and a platform for artistic collaboration. The venue boasts two primary concert halls: Hall 1 (capacity approximately 1,200) and Hall 2 (capacity approximately 450), alongside smaller spaces for more intimate performances and creative activities.
