Lambchop will perform at Arenberg in Antwerp, Belgium on December 2nd, 2026. The band, originating from Nashville, Tennessee, is known for its distinctive blend of country, soul, jazz, and electronic music. Often described as “slowcore,” their sound is characterized by Kurt Wagner’s understated vocals, often delivered in a spoken-word style, layered over lush arrangements featuring strings, horns, and subtle electronic textures. Formed in the late 1980s, Lambchop gained recognition for their experimental approach to traditional American music forms and have released numerous critically acclaimed albums throughout their career.

Arenberg is a cultural venue located within the historic Arenberg estate in Antwerp. Originally a medieval castle dating back to the 12th century, the estate underwent significant transformations over the centuries. The current complex includes a renovated castle building alongside modern architectural additions designed by Robbrecht en Daem architects which were completed in 2006. It functions as a multidisciplinary arts space hosting concerts, exhibitions and performances. The venue is noted for its unique atmosphere combining historical elements with contemporary design and frequently hosts both established and emerging artists across various genres.
