LA Priest, the project spearheaded by Sam Dust, will perform at Club Cheek in London on June 29, 2026. Dust’s musical style is often described as a blend of psychedelic pop, electronic, and experimental rock. Initially gaining recognition as one half of the electronic duo Frequency Domain in the early 2000s, he transitioned to the LA Priest moniker in 2011, releasing his debut album *In Between Debris* to critical acclaim. His sound incorporates layered textures, unconventional song structures, and a distinctive vocal delivery, drawing comparisons to artists like Broadcast and Stereolab while maintaining a uniquely modern sensibility. Recent albums such as *Geneva* (2020) and *Familiar* (2023) have further solidified his reputation for innovative production and songwriting.

Club Cheek is a relatively new venue located in Lower Clapton, East London. Opened in late 2023, it quickly established itself as a space focused on intimate live music performances and DJ sets spanning diverse genres including indie, electronic and alternative music. The venue is known for its intentionally small capacity – approximately 150 people – creating a close connection between artists and audience members.
