Geese, a Brooklyn-based band formed in 2015, will be performing at the Troxy in London on September 2nd, 2026. Their music is generally categorized as post-punk and art-punk, characterized by angular guitar work, driving rhythms, and often sardonic lyrical content. Influences frequently cited include bands like Television, Wire, and early Talking Heads. They have released three studio albums to date: *Projector* (2017), *3D Stress* (2021), and *Site Specific* (2023), garnering critical acclaim for their energetic live performances and distinct sound.

The Troxy is a Grade II listed Art Deco cinema and venue located in Poplar, East London. Originally opened in 1930 as a super cinema – designed to accommodate over 3,000 patrons – it was notable for its luxurious interiors and advanced technical features for its time, including a massive Compton organ. Following periods as a bingo hall and various other uses, the building underwent significant restoration in the early 2000s.
