Kian Soltani, a highly regarded Iranian-Austrian cellist, will perform at DomQuartier Salzburg on January 28, 2027. Soltani’s playing is frequently described as possessing a rich, nuanced tone and a deeply expressive quality. He is known for interpretations spanning a broad repertoire, from the standard classical canon to contemporary works, often characterized by both technical brilliance and emotional depth. He gained international recognition as a prizewinner in several prestigious competitions, including the International Cello Competition Pablo Casals.

DomQuartier Salzburg is a Baroque architectural ensemble comprising several museums and concert venues in the heart of Salzburg’s Old Town. Originally built as the residence of the Prince-Archbishops of Salzburg, it served as their administrative and representative center for centuries. The complex includes Salzburg Cathedral, the Residenz (former palace), and St. Peter's Abbey, all interconnected through courtyards and passageways. Following extensive renovations completed in 2014, DomQuartier opened as a cultural center showcasing art, architecture and music.
