The Button Factory, located in the Liberties area of Dublin, Ireland, has a history rooted in the city’s industrial past. Originally constructed in the 1890s as a button manufacturing facility – hence the name – it operated as such for nearly a century before undergoing renovations in the late 1990s. It subsequently became a prominent venue for live music and club nights. The building retains much of its original Victorian-era architecture, including exposed brickwork and high ceilings, contributing to its distinct atmosphere. It is now recognized as a significant space within Dublin’s cultural landscape hosting diverse performances including concerts, DJ sets and events. The venue's capacity is approximately 1000 people.
