The National Concert Hall (NCH) is Ireland’s premier concert venue, situated on Earlsfort Terrace in Dublin. Originally built as the University Examination Hall for University College Dublin between 1879 and 1880, it was designed by architect Thomas Deane. It served this function until the 1970s when UCD moved to a new campus. In 1986 it was officially re-opened as the National Concert Hall following significant renovations specifically geared towards acoustic performance. The hall is renowned for its acoustics and hosts a diverse program encompassing classical music, jazz, contemporary music, and other genres.
