Klangbrücke is a concert venue located in the former Peter’s Church in Aachen. Originally consecrated in 1888, the church underwent extensive renovation following damage during World War II. It was subsequently repurposed as a cultural center and concert hall in 1993, specifically designed to accommodate a diverse range of musical genres. The venue is noted for its exceptional acoustics due to its original architectural features – high vaulted ceilings and stone construction – which have been preserved during its transformation. Klangbrücke regularly hosts performances spanning classical music, jazz, world music, and contemporary experimental sounds. It’s capacity is approximately 400 people seated.
