Fairycroft House Arts And Media Centre is a unique venue located in Saffron Walden, Essex. Originally built in 1907 as a private residence designed by architect Edwin Lutyens – famed for his work on New Delhi and Castle Drogo – it was later acquired by Uttlesford District Council. It underwent significant renovation to become a dedicated arts space, opening as Fairycroft House in 2004. The centre retains many of Lutyens’ original architectural features, including Arts and Crafts detailing, offering a characterful setting for performances.

The centre provides facilities for various artistic disciplines including film screenings, theatre productions, music events and media workshops. It functions as both a performance space and a hub for creative industries within the local community, hosting both established and emerging artists.
