The Count Basie Orchestra will perform at the Cambridge Corn Exchange on December 21, 2026. The Cambridge Corn Exchange is a historic venue dating back to 1904. Initially constructed as a corn exchange – a marketplace for grain trading – it was converted into a theatre and variety hall in 1906. Throughout its history it has hosted a diverse range of performances including music hall acts, opera, ballet, and contemporary music concerts. The building underwent significant refurbishment in 2006-2007 which restored many of its original architectural features while modernizing facilities.
