Hot Chip will be performing at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin, Ireland on March 4th, 2027. The band is known for their eclectic blend of electronic music, incorporating elements of synth-pop, indie dance, and funk. Formed in London in 2000, Hot Chip’s sound frequently features layered synthesizers, distinctive vocal delivery – often shared between members Alexis Taylor and Joe Goddard – and intelligent, subtly complex arrangements. They have released seven studio albums to date, achieving critical acclaim and a dedicated international following.

The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre is Dublin’s largest theatre venue, situated on Grand Canal Street Upper. Originally opened as the Olympia Theatre in 1903, it underwent significant refurbishment and reopened under its current name in 2010 following a period of closure and redevelopment led by Harry Crosbie. The theatre boasts a capacity of approximately 2,400 seats and hosts a diverse programme including large-scale musical productions, ballet, opera, and concerts by internationally renowned artists. Its architecture blends original Victorian features with modern design elements. It is a prominent landmark within Dublin’s Docklands area.
