Horse Lords will be performing at Vega in Copenhagen, Denmark on May 27, 2027. The band is a Washington D.C.-based musical group known for their unique blend of post-punk, no wave, and free improvisation, often characterized by interlocking guitar lines, complex polyrhythms, and spoken-word vocals. Their music frequently avoids traditional verse-chorus structures, prioritizing textural exploration and dynamic shifts. They have released albums on labels including Northern Spy Records and have toured extensively internationally.

Vega is a prominent multi-room live music venue in Copenhagen, situated in the Vesterbro district. Originally opened in 1996 as a replacement for the older Vega venue which closed in 1990, it was designed by architect Henning Larsen. The current Vega comprises three primary spaces: Store Vega (Large Vega), Lille Vega (Small Vega), and Ideal Bar VegA – each catering to different audience sizes and musical genres. Store Vega is particularly noted for its excellent acoustics and has hosted a diverse range of internationally recognized artists across numerous genres since its inception. The building also includes restaurant facilities and is considered a significant cultural landmark within Copenhagen’s music scene.
