Horse Lords will perform at Vega in Copenhagen, Denmark on September 21, 2026. The band is a Washington D.C.-based musical group known for their instrumental post-punk sound, often characterized by complex polyrhythms, angular guitar work, and influences from krautrock and free jazz. Their compositions frequently eschew traditional verse-chorus structures, favoring extended improvisations and interlocking instrumental patterns. Formed in 2010, Horse Lords have released several albums on Northern Spy Records and consistently tour internationally.

Vega is a prominent concert venue located in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen. Originally established in 1996 as a successor to the earlier jazz club Montmartre, Vega comprises three distinct halls: Vega Kongen (The King), Vega Ridehuset (The Riding House), and the smaller Store Vega (Big Vega). The venue is recognized for its high-quality acoustics and diverse programming encompassing a wide range of musical genres, including rock, pop, jazz, and world music. Designed by architect Henning Larsen, Vega’s architecture integrates historical elements of the former Stærekassen barracks with modern design features.
