Horse Lords will perform at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in London on November 11, 2026. Horse Lords is a Washington D.C.-based band known for their highly rhythmic and largely instrumental music, often categorized as post-punk, no wave, or experimental rock. Their sound frequently incorporates elements of polyrhythms, angular guitar work, and spoken-word vocals, creating a complex and intellectually engaging listening experience. Formed in 2009, the band has released albums on labels including Northern Spy Records and Epitaph.

The Institute of Contemporary Arts, located at The Mall in London, was founded in 1946 following a proposal by Roland Penrose and Peter Watson. Originally conceived as a space to foster avant-garde creativity across multiple disciplines – including visual arts, music, theatre, film and literature – the ICA quickly became a significant hub for emerging artists and intellectual discourse. Throughout its history it has showcased influential figures from various fields and continues to present a diverse program of exhibitions, performances, talks and screenings. The building itself underwent a major refurbishment completed in 2008, maintaining its commitment to providing a platform for contemporary cultural expression.
