Experience Heads South live on August 6th
Heads South performs a blend of country rock and Americana, drawing influence from artists like The Eagles and Little Feat. Their music features close vocal harmonies, intricate guitar work, and a strong rhythmic foundation, often incorporating elements of both traditional country and West Coast rock sounds. The band has established a following through extensive touring across the United Kingdom and releases of original material alongside well-regarded covers.
The Pantiles in Royal Tunbridge Wells is a historically significant colonnaded promenade dating back to the 17th century. Originally designed as a covered walkway for visitors taking spa waters – Tunbridge Wells’ raison d'être – it comprises a series of elegant arches housing shops and cafes. Throughout its history, The Pantiles has been a social hub, hosting musical performances, assemblies, and public events.
The space underwent restoration in the early 21st century to return it to its former glory and re-establish its role as a community gathering place. Today it continues to host regular events including farmers’ markets, jazz on the Pantiles (a weekly occurrence) and larger scale concerts utilising the open space within the colonnade. Its unique architectural setting provides an atmospheric backdrop for performances.
